The Wild Book

Thirteen-year-old Juan is spending the summer with his strange Uncle Tito who has an enchanted library where books have supernatural powers. Uncle Tito tells Juan that he is a Princeps Reader, which means books respond magically to him and that he is the only one who can find the evasive Wild Book. Each chapter is accompanied by whimsical woodcut-style illustrations. More than one million copies have been sold in the Spanish edition. mjw
